Protecting the privacy of your patient information is a top priority. We have taken all possible measures to secure your patient information while still providing you with the archives you need. We have security measures in place to protect against alteration and/or access of the patient information we store.
We provide the most secure method of file transfer available for our MTs and our clients. We also provide a safe and effective method for transfer of all voice files. We keep up to date on the HIPAA guidelines.
HIPAA is the acronym for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is responsible for implementing various unrelated provisions of HIPAA, therefore HIPAA may mean different things to different people.

TNI stays current with HIPAA guidelines. We make every reasonable effort to be knowledgeable and responsive to HIPAA regulations and to act as our client’s partner in this endeavor. We employ our own HIPAA standards while incorporating yours in the process. Protecting the confidentiality of patient information is what HIPAA is based on. Healthcare systems, to include patient provider setting, billing, file rooms, transcription, etc., must have working systems in place to effectively keep up with these new and changing regulations.
